President - Craig McDonnell
Craig is AVP of IT Operations & Cloud CoE at Cox Communications.
Craig is responsible for IT enterprise platforms, infrastructure,
cloud technologies and operations. He has over 25 years as and Software Engineering and IT professional. Craig served Board Member Castle Pines North Master Association in Castle Pines Colorado. Also, he served Castle Pines North (CPN) HOA1 as Board Member and Treasurer. His HOA volunteer time within the Castle Pines community was focused on driving open dialog and positive communication. Craig cares about people and community. Most importantly, he believes the HOA board serves to support an open financial and management policy that enables our community to continue to be a beautiful, fun place to live.
Secretary - Ruth McElroy
Ruth's interest in joining the HOA Board is based on a desire to serve her community by driving a strategic plan to maintain and grow Crooked Creek's community, its desirable amenities, and bring full transparency to key decisions. Ruth brings strong communications skills to the board, with experience building communications channels, strategies, and concise messaging, which she feels is a vital piece needed for success of the HOA. Additionally, her experience in strategic planning will helps formulate a collaborative and transparent roadmap, balancing the needs of the community and prudent fiscal planning for the future of the neighborhood.
Board Member - Reece Whitley
Reece has founded 4 separate businesses in the Recycling,
Transportation, Information Management and Automotive Services
industries. In aggregate, those businesses currently operate in 11
cities across the eastern US with over 300 employees. In 2021, Reece joined Paperworks, one of North America's leading producers of recycled paperboard and packaging. As a member of the executive leadership team, Reece is responsible for the establishment of a new Recycling business unit. Reece is an active board member (VP) of Sugarloaf Men's Golf Association, representing over 250 members and an active board member of Gwinnett Sports Commission/Mitsubishi Electric Classic (PGA Champions Tour Event).
Ashley H. Chalmers
Ashley is a Senior Litigation Attorney at Colonial Pipeline Company. Prior to this role, she was litigation counsel at Equifax. She received her BA in International Relations from Stanford University and her JD from University of California Hastings College of the Law. Crooked Creek’s swim and tennis amenities were a key factor in the Chalmers’ decision to buy a home in this neighborhood. Since moving into CC, Ashley has been active in the CC tennis community playing on Thursday and Sunday women’s teams and with her husband on mixed
teams.
Board Member - Cary Franklin
Cary is an Enterprise Account Executive for Lucid software, managing the largest customers in the Southeast. Prior to this role, he was a Senior Account Executive at Salesforce. He received his BA in Finance from the University of Illinois. Crooked Creek’s amenities + reputation as a family-focused neighborhood were a key factor in the Franklins’ decision to buy a home in this neighborhood. Cary is a former Division I NCAA Tennis Champion (Doubles), 3-time All-American (Singles & Doubles), and member of the Illinois Men’s Tennis “All Century Team”.
Board Member - Joe Longoria
Joe has a history of volunteerism and community service. He has worked as a volunteer and in a Board leadership capacity for several organizations including Bishop Lynch High School, the Boy Scouts of America, St Brigid Catholic Church, Holy Redeemer Catholic School, Blessed Trinity High School, and Theta Chi International Fraternity. Joe was elected to the Crooked Creek HOA Board in 2006 and served as treasurer for the HOA from 2008 through 2009. In 2009 Joe was elected to the Milton City council where he served from 2010 through 2021. Joe believes in transparency and homeowner involvement.
